"I Waited for Hours"
I sat on the floor.
It was cold,
I did not care.
I finished my cereal box
I won't have breakfast tomorrow.
I change my sitting position,
and walked around the room,
and jumped on the couch,
I could not stay still.
I check my cellphone countless times,
Knowing it was useless.
Yet,
I looked again, and again, and again.
I drank three cups of coffe,
so my eyes wouldn't close.
I looked at the clock,
3 am,
Letters to a Soldier
Fifteen letters where send by a girl
Whose job was to clean red,
In a white uniform dress.
The letters talk of love and need,
For the girls loneliness only a boy could heal.
This boy went far, far away,
In a mission just like princes in fairytales.
The only difference was his suite,
Nowadays,
Boys
Cant wear blue.
Time passed with no answer at all
-Is my prince dead?
Was the girls thought
Yet, she didnt give up
The girl kept writing night after night.
The first letter was very long,
There she wrote her feelings and thoughts.
As no answer came she wrote nine letters more,
Hopping
